El Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Sevilla (Fibes) acoge este domingo 3 de noviembre a partir de las 20.00 la alfombra roja y la gala de los MTV European Music Awards (EMA), la 26.ª edición de los premios que la cadena estadounidense concede en Europa. El evento se celebrará por cuarta vez en España —la segunda de forma consecutiva tras la edición de 2018 en Bilbao— y se podrá seguir en directo en más de 180 países. Ariana Grande, con siete nominaciones, Billie Eilish y Lil Nas X con seis, y Rosalía y J Balvin con cuatro, son los artistas más nominados de este año.

MTV EMAs 2019 will be held at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Andalusia, Spain, on 3 November 2019. The host of the ceremony will be Becky G. This will be the fourth time, as well as the second consecutive year, that Spain hosts the awards show. It will be the first time that a country hosts back-to-back editions of the award show. Ariana Grande was nominated for seven awards, followed by Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X and Shawn Mendes, who were each nominated for six. In association with the EMAs, an event called MTV Music Week will be organised, which will run from 31 October to 2 November at different locations throughout the city. Its main concert will be held at the Plaza de España on 2 November, headlined by Green Day.
